Founder Ericka
“It took me a long time to realize that skin blemishes, texture, and discoloration are normal”
As a young woman struggling with acne, Ericka spent tons of money on products that promised overnight remedies to the skin concerns that made her feel insecure. Once she embarked on her skincare journey she inevitably learned that her value as a person was not tied to her physical appearance and began to give herself grace throughout her skin healing process. She created Silkenn so that her experience can bring awareness to the need for normalizing imperfect skin in mainstream media and empower those who relate to her story to stand in the boldness of their beauty.
